Restoration project at:
on behalf of the National Waterways Trust.
The renovation project, involved sourcing traditional materials, appropriate to the period for the working class cottages. In number 9, 10 & 11, traditional oil based paints were used along with distemper & reproduction wallpaper.
Cottage number 12 represents life in the 1950’s; gloss paint is used on the kitchen walls, and emulsion on the ceilings. The border, as seen in living room, is the original, saved & reused along with 1950’s reproduction wallpaper.
